Good Lord Number 31 - Rekickulous is beyond snake bit

Well after 2 delays due to rain and smoke from Canada drifting south, we finally played our arch frenemies, Rekickulous in the finals...again.  Rekickulous pitched a guy, so we had to respond in kind. They struck first, capitalizing from an error at second base from our fill-in Abbey (Chelsey was up north, I assume it had nothing to do with a guy and everything to do with helping Canada fight those fires), and a communication error also at second base. Anyway, after trailing 1-0, Abbey started off our rally with a legitimate hit and working her around the bases.  I finally got up and pulled a Jake, blooping one over second base, only for it to drop due to the second basemen and right fielder afraid to collide with each other.  That scored the last run of the game, as it ended 2-1.  I don't know how Rekickulous keeps losing its baffling to me.  Special shout out to Steve for pitching a great game. And to Abbey the MVP of the game for getting a legit single and starting the rally.  Well played all around.  #31 in the books.  We cant have too many more left.

Al "The Professor" as hellbent on making the lineup:

2) Steve P

12) Abbey 2B

Also just noting this was the last weekend for Krupas, as after 104 years they are selling the bar.  A new owner outside the family is taking over. It will shutdown for months and renovated.  It will surely lose its charm, and most if not all the locals that go there will probably fade into the obscurity of the city.  It was an outpost and an oasis on the far side of Fairmount. The neighborhood will be worse off without it. Fuck man. Personal devastation.
