It's Kickball Time In The Illadilla! Salute Your Jorts is the premier professional kickball team of the Philadelphia area. The team is made up of 15 elite athletes that, game in and game out, take the sport of kickball to new heights. The team's motto since early 1993 has been, "Blood, Sweat, Tears and Beers!" The motto of a true champion.

Bring It On Home!!
While many thought this would be a down season after losing Captain Jared Brown to the deep south, the Jorts find themselves in a familiar position: Playoff Semifinals.
As Thursday approaches, the Jorts once again will look to prove their place as the best of the best in a 4 team playoff. Granted the #1 seed after clinching the regular season title, Salute Your Jorts hosts The New Kicks on the Block with a bid to the championship game on the line.
Jorts will be looking to end the night with an unprecedented third consecutive PSSC Kickball Championship.

Another Day, Another Dollar
Amidst the no parking signs, the broken balls, jesus constantly looking down, fashion shows, and plumes of chronic drifting through the field from the adjacent park, the Jorts have started yet another session of kickball (I assume to defend the title).

Double It Up!
Once again, facing a deficit heading into the final inning, the Jorts dug deep to score the tying run, sending the game into extra kickball. Keeping the momentum and pressure going, the winning runs were scored, defense was applied to gain the final three outs, and the back-to-back championship was claimed!

8-Bit Inspiration
Some crazy guy recomposed Radiohead's OK Computer entirely into 8-bit.
How does this fit into the Jorts theme and kickball? It's inspirational fighting music for the playoffs!!! Makes me feel like dusting off my old controller and kicking some ass in Bad Dudes!!! And then going out and kicking a big red ball real far! Link after the pic!

Must Be The Money
And so it came to pass, with 2 outs and a runner on first, bottom of the seventh and little hope, Gavin's magic orange hat (blessed by the laugh of the patron saint of kickball himself, the one and only Jeff Goldbloom), bestowed its awesome power yet one more time to the Jorts. As the wobbly red globe looped over second, and the runner on first crossing home plate to tie the game, the rest would be written in history. On to the next round beotches!

The Jorts Awaken!
In the face of adversity, with doubts lingering about what this team was willing to accomplish this season, Salute Your Jorts manhandled their opponent in destruction ball fashion last night. After the most disappointing regular season record in Jorts franchise history, the team let it be known they remain a force to be reckoned with.
A 16-2 massacre, featuring both a 3-run jack and a Grand Salami, propelled the Jorts into the first round of the PSSC Fairmount Kickball Playoffs. Top ranked seeds undoubtedly took notice of the no holds barred attack witnessed last night at Francisville Playground, as fundamentally sound base-running allowed runs to pile up early and often.
Next up, Salute Your Jorts will face Kick it and Bounce at Roberto Clemente park on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 9:20PM in what kicks off their title defense.
